The practice is concentrated in the main regulated sectors of the infrastructure industry, such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Mining, Ports, Airports, Aviation, Highways and Railways, Public Transport, Sanitation, Telecommunications and Heavy Construction.
The department is coordinated by the partners Felipe Henrique Braz and Conrado Gama Monteiro, who have recognized experience in infrastructure and regulatory operations, with a focus on projects involving private investment in regulated sectors.
Advising clients on tenders, concessions, public-private partnerships (PPP), development and financing of projects of the most varied sizes, BGM finds the dynamism and innovation necessary to accompany the legislative changes in the sectors.
Legal advice in all stages of development of infrastructure projects and regulatory matters. Preparation of legal opinions on bids, concessions, PPPs, PMIs, project finance, public procurements, EPC, EPCM, turn key, built to suit and consortium agreements. Focus on sustainable and efficient solutions, observing the mitigation of risks involving the entire development cycle of each project.
Management of infrastructure projects, through the planning of all phases of the project and the effective coordination of the various resources (human, material, financial, political and equipment), to meet the pre-established standards of time, cost, quality and risk . Use of PMBOK methodology and Level 2 B3 corporate governance standard (BM&F Bovespa).
Expertise in lawsuits and in arbitration proceedings under the rules of the main Brazilian and international arbitration institutions. Resolution of disputes involving bidding, concession, public contracts, construction contracts, regulatory matters, among other related topics.
